McCormick Automotive Center

McCormick is absolutely the best most trustworthy shop in town. Michael and everyone else at the shop were incredibly kind and helpful. They were able to identify the issue and fix my car in less than a full day. I felt very well taken care of and couldn’t recommend them more.

Truly nothing but great things to say! They were incredibly friendly, communicative, patient, transparent, and quick. They took my car in unexpectedly and seamlessly turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. More than anything, they just seem to be genuinely good people who care about serving their community. As a woman with very little car knowledge, I'm always a little on edge in auto shops, but I felt very comfortable and confident here from the get-go. Also, the lobby itself is quite cozy! I'll be coming back and recommending them to others. Thank you very much, Corry and team!

McCormick Automotive Center was fantastic. I brought in a 1996 Suzuki Jimny that had been imported from Japan and converted to an EV. By no means a "standard" vehicle. Kaylee and the team were very upfront with the work needed and the uncertainty of getting parts for an older vehicle. Throughout the process the communication was excellent and all of the work was done to the highest standard. I recommend McCormick to anyone in need of automotive maintenance or repair.

We can’t say enough good things about this local shop. We were passing through town when our 2019 Jeep started having terrible steering issues. They were able to see us right away and in 1.5 hours had diagnosed the problem. They had photographed all of the issues with the Jeep and let us know what the biggest priority was needing fixed in order for us to get back home to Iowa. They offered us a loaner vehicle at no charge to use while we were in town. During the repairs another issue came up they felt needed addressed before we took it back onto the road and even suggested we try another business that might have a less expensive option for us. Because of the quality of service we had received up to this point we felt best about them completing the additional work. Everything they did has a multi year warranty even back home in Iowa and information was provided should we ever need to use said warranty. Kaylee was top notch in explaining everything the technician had found and was doing and the communication throughout the multi day repair was second to none. Choose this place for your automotive mechanical needs. You won’t be disappointed.

We brought the car in because we had an AC that was not blowing cold. 1: :They improperly diagnosed the problem to begin with, but proceeded to convince us that it was the issue and charged us just under $400 for the work to be done. I felt that this was a reasonable price. 2. They said that for "all of the services that they complete" they always have the customers come back 2 weeks later to make sure everything still look good and there aren't any issues with the service that they completed. 3. After a 30min inspection it turns out that they've now "correctly" diagnosed the problem and it will be another $350 to fix the problem for real. Pro's: They were quick with the work. They lent me a loner vehicle for half a day free of charge. Front desk is friendly and attentive, and offered a discount during checkout because I think they knew that I was frustrated with the 2nd bill. Cons: The diagnostics that they do are not up to par and in our case cost us (instead of them) twice what it should have been. They were not honest regarding the reason that we were returning within 2 weeks to get a "check up" on the work that was previously done. It was THEIR FAULT that the problem
